About Me:
~ Currently I am a teaching artist studying social entrepreneurship--I also conceptualize, write, and perform my own work ~poet, playwright, novelist, and essayist---Currently, I am working on a science fiction manuscript based on the story I have in a forthcoming issue of Milvia Street coming out this year, titled,"Bar None." Plus I am working on a short story collection, A novel about two homeless people, a poem collection AND my memoir about my time growing up in West Berkeley. ~I specialize in the area of diversity ~I believe you can't learn to love anyone else until you learn to love yourself ~ I believe in being a do right in a world of do wrongs my philosophy, besides who you are is knowing who walks beside you, is you must not accept it if the world tells you no. if you face a situation where you are forced to reconsider your spiritual resources, you must work your way out of a difficult situation. and that somehow, someway, we survive the darkest roads and the highest seas. and every day, you never know who you impact in a positive way, just by persevering and continuing to do what requires great strength. * Special note: not looking to "hook up."
