In English the noun 'news' is not singular: use the plural indefinite article 'some,' as in "I have some phenomenal news." Otherwise you can always use "I have a phenomenal piece of news."

Moreover, "Ho una news fenomenale" is a terrible Italian... NEVER use "news". We already have "notizia/e", which suits way better to that kind of sentence.
