Here are some sentence contexts in which I would use these words.

1. Anyway, It is time to go to work.

2. In any event, be sweet and have a good day. I think I know how to say this. Correct if I am wrong. "In ogni caso, sii dolce e buona giornata."

3. I don't want to go to work today. Nevertheless, I have to do it.

4, Come si dice, "even though?"

grazie dell'aiuto... :)

1. "Anyway, It is time to go to work."

"Comunque, è ora di andare a lavoro/lavorare"

2. "In any event, be sweet and have a good day."

Your (grammatically correct) translation looks a bit odd.
Can you give me an alternate word for sweet? I'm not sure how to interpret it. Do you mean "keep sweet" or something like that?

3. "I don't want to go to work today. Nevertheless, I have to do it."

"Non voglio andare a lavoro/lavorare, oggi. Tuttavia, devo farlo."

or

"Non voglio andare a lavoro/lavorare, oggi. Nonostante ciò, devo farlo."

or

"Non voglio andare a lavoro/lavorare, oggi. Ciò nonostante, devo farlo."

But there are other variations.

Here we will say "be sweet" like to say continue to be a nice person/sweet person, so it's something like that.

grazie :)

OK. My guess was right. :P
So...

2. "In any event, be sweet and have a good day."

"In ogni caso, resta come sei e buona giornata."

or, better,

"In ogni caso, non cambiare mai e buona giornata"

Nonetheless the sentence is still a bit odd. I'd rather form two separate sentences:

"In ogni caso, resta come sei. Buona giornata"

or, better,

"In ogni caso, non cambiare mai. Buona giornata"

4. "Even though"

"Anche se"

"Anyway" = "Comunque", "In ogni caso"

"In any event" = "In ogni caso", "Comunque"

"By the way" = "A proposito", "Tra l'altro"

"Nevertheless" = "Tuttavia", "Nonostante ciò", "Ciò nonostante", "Comunque"

The choice of the right translation to use can vary, depending on the sentence.
