"Grazie per l'incoraggiamento"

The article must be "Lo" [ " L' " ], because "Incoraggiamento" is masculine and the first letter is a vowel.

grazie Sal but I'm a little confused about the "Lo" article. I found this online explaining how to use it.

(used before masculine nouns starting with s+ consonant, z, gn, x, y, ps, pn, i+vowel: e.g. "lo studente")

I'm not sure how to apply this rule to "Incoraggiamento" Can you explain.

The problem is "masculine nouns starting with i+vowel " is wrong.

The rule is just " masculine nouns starting with vowel ". ;)
