Correct, but I remember a native English telling me that "funny" is used mostly to refer to someone bizarre and comical, while "fun" is used to refer to someone who is hilarious but not bizarre.
So, "buffo" is more suitable than "divertente", maybe.
Am I correct?

It really depends upon the context of what is being discussed of in question. In this case both would be appropriate. It is a vid about a black cat. She says that it is bad luck if a cat crosses your path then he gets in the path of a moving car and get's hit and the joke is that it isn't good for the cat either, so I guess this qualifies because what are the odds of a person hitting a black cat.
