grazie.. :)

Come si dice, "learning" in Italiano? "imparando" è corretto?

Questa frase è corretta?
Mi contento/felice essere imparando Italiano. Ho appena iniziato è un difficile lingua. Conosco solo poche / (po') parole.

Your translation

Mi (1) contento/felice essere imparando (2) (3) Italiano. Ho appena iniziato (4) è un difficile lingua. (5) Conosco solo (6) poche / (po') (7) parole.

---
Correct translation
---

Sono (1) contento/felice di stare imparando (2) l' (3) Italiano. Ho appena iniziato. (4) È una lingua difficile. (5) Conosco soltanto/solo (6) poche/(un po' di) (7) parole.

NOTES:

On the basis of your translation, I have made some assumptions about the original English sentence.

(1) You cannot say "Mi contento/felice". "Mi" can be used if you say "Mi piace" [ "I like" ], but you have to change to whole sentence: "Mi piace imparare l'Italiano".

(2) Remember that, in Italian, you have to use the verb "Stare" [ it must be conjugated ], for progressive forms.

(3) The article " L' " cannot be omitted.

(4) I have split the sentence.

(5) "Lingua" is feminine, so "una" must be used. Moreover, the typical Italian order of words requires that you put the noun before the adjective.

(6) You can also use "soltanto".

(7) If you want to use " po' ", you have to say "Un po' di". To be clearer "Poche" = "Few" and "Un po' di" = "A bit of".

What are Italian dubbed movies and where can I find them?

Salvatore Saja answered 16 Oct 11

In Italy, we dub every foreign movie. No original audio nor subtitles. So, if you have DVD or BluRay movies, you can change the audio track to "Italian".
You can also look for clips on YouTube.

ohh ok this will help with listening but I still have to go through the learning process. This language is extremely complex so it is just going to take take. Honestly, I don't know how Amanda Knox learned Italian in two years, good enough to help represent herself in her own trail. Anyway It is just going to take me time to learn. :)

Yes, Italian is one of the most complex languages in the world.
Watching movies will help you not only with listening. You could learn the typical expressions we use in the most varied situations.
