Ah, ok. In Italian, I'd rather say "Lì c'è una/la banca" [ which is an exact translation of "There is a/the bank" too ] or even "Ecco la/una banca" [ Here's the/a bank ].

Yes, it's correct. But it's a weird sentence. In which context would you use that?

Like if I was walking down the street looking for the bank and when I see it, I say, "There is the bank" How would you express this statement if this was your case? grazie

ok thank you I was going to use "ecco" but was unsure.. got it now but both is good. :)
