What are participation points?

Participation points are a summation of a user's activity on the Online Language Help network. They can be used to roughly gauge how trustworthy a user's responses are. If someone has lots of points, you know you can trust their answers.

How do I earn participation points?



• answering questions

• asking questions

• receiving answers to your questions

• completing lessons

What are the benefits?

We rely on our users to help us moderate the conversations on our sites.

Votes and reports from users with higher participation points are wighted more heavily.

In effect, having more participation points gives you a greater say in moderation.
